San Juan, also known as the walled city
This past week, I trekked my way through the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I have to say it was an awesome experience and definitely a memorable trip for me. We stay at the Ritz Carlton where we enjoyed breakfast in bed, open hour pool, and the best mojito- no joke. Anyways back to the few highlights of my trip. Food Food Food! Foodie dreams from the fresh seafoods, fruits and local delicacies such as monfongo, carne guisada, and pasteles. I was pretty blown away from the freshness of the food and kindness of the locals. I rarely review restaurants but Budatai, an asian theme cuisine located in Condado district definitley deserve one. The pork dumplings, tuna tartare and rack of lambs were cooked to perfection.I could literally go through each thing we did but it would probably take up a whole day to read. However I did enjoy heading to Rio Piers Market, Old San Juan, Vieques Island (ferry ride however was not my best friend ), and Luquillo kiosks.
Thank you all for reading and remember life is short take a vacation and trek away!
